The car is finished in Peacock Blue over white and powered by a 289ci V8 paired with a Ford Racing T-5 five-speed manual transmission and a 3.55:1 limited-slip differential. The car was stripped to bare metal and refinished in Peacock Blue under previous ownership. Features include chrome rocker and wheel opening trim, a wind split hood ornament, Comet and Cyclone badging, quad headlamps, chrome bumpers, and a dual-outlet exhaust that exits behind the rear wheels.The 14″ steel wheels wear chrome covers and are mounted with 215/75 Hankook Optimo H725 white stripe tires. A full-size spare is mounted in the trunk.
The car is equipped with power steering and braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums. The rear springs, Calvert adjustable rear shock absorbers, and front disc brakes were installed under previous ownership and a control arm bushing was greased in preparation for the sale.The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in white vinyl joined by matching door panels. Equipment includes a Hurst shifter, an armrest with cup holders, polished door sills, and crank windows.
A Sony AM/FM/CD stereo is housed in the glove compartment and is connected to aftermarket speakers.The wood-rimmed steering wheel frames a sweeping 120-mph speedometer, and gauges for fuel level, oil pressure, battery voltage, and coolant temperature. A Cyclone-branded tachometer is mounted to the top of the dashboard, and a trio of gauges is mounted below the dashboard. The five-digit odometer shows 86k miles, a few of which were added by the selling dealer.
The 289ci V8 breathes through an Edelbrock intake manifold and a Holley 600 CFM carburetor and has a Comp Cams camshaft, Air Flow Research Renegade cylinder heads, electronic ignition, an aluminum radiator, aluminum cylinder heads, MSD ignition wires, headers, and black finned Comet valve covers. The oil and filter were changed in November 2023Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a Ford Racing T-5 five-speed manual transmission and a 3.55:1 limited-slip differential. The transmission and differential were installed under previous ownership. A dual exhaust system with chambered mufflers is fitted.
