This one-of-a-kind 1935 Studebaker Dictator was custom built by Mike Goldman Customs of Meridian, Mississippi, known for their top-tier craftsmanship and attention to detail. Built with premium components and engineered to meet the high standards of fit, finish, and functionality that define every Goldman creation.

Under the hood, it’s powered by a Big Block Chevrolet engine paired with a custom radiator and dual fans—keeping the car cool even in 100-degree weather with the A/C running. Jet-coated block hugger headers and Flowmaster triple-chamber mufflers deliver a powerful, smooth sound. It rides on a fully custom chassis finished in Night Shadow Blue with a stainless fuel tank, Mustang II IFS, and a Currie Ford 9-inch rear end. The hidden Air Tech air ride suspension, Denny’s driveshaft, and Master Power braking system (11″ front disc, rear drum) ensure excellent ride quality and stopping power. Two Optima Red Top batteries, a master power disconnect, auxiliary battery post, and hidden electric license plate mount complete the setup.

The body is chopped 3.5 inches with a filled roof, smoothed running boards, and a widened/molded bustle trunk with power lift. Front fenders and the radiator shell are molded in, with a custom one-piece hood and side covers featuring a double-lined, air-gapped design for paint protection. Additional custom touches include a Hagen frenched headlight kit and numerous subtle modifications throughout.

Inside, the cabin is finished by M&M Upholstery in Holly Pond, Alabama. It features Blue Mercedes leather over Cerello front seats and custom rear seating. Mercedes wool lines the sculpted headliner and door panels. A Sony stereo system is housed in an overhead console, and the dash is fitted with an AutoMeter gauge cluster, Centech wiring, power windows, power wipers, power trunk, remote door locks, and Air Tech heating and A/C.

The build was completed in 2004 and has approximately 8,600 miles since. The current owner has had it since 2006. Recent maintenance includes a new transmission, belts, hoses, fluids, master cylinder, booster, front airbags, and grease boots.

This is a show-quality build that consistently stands out thanks to its one-off design, exceptional craftsmanship, and unique presentation. Inspections are welcome—lift on site.

Thanks. One more question. What is the overall length? I would like to know if it will fit in my garage. Beautiful car!!!

    • ACC Ken says:

Hi Rob. The Studebaker measures approximately 15 feet in overall length. So if your garage is a full 17 feet long or longer, you should have just enough space to accommodate the vehicle comfortably.
