1968 Chevrolet Corvette T-Top Coupe
First-Year C3 Styling. 327 Power. Four-Speed Driving.
The 1968 Corvette introduced the dramatic third-generation body that would define America’s sports car for the next 15 years. This example combines that unmistakable first-year C3 styling with a 327ci/300-horsepower V8, a 4-speed manual transmission, and a distinctive Silverstone exterior over a Gunmetal interior.
According to the owner, the Corvette spent its first 55 years in Texas before moving to New Jersey three years ago. Showing 49,750 miles, it presents as a well-kept and thoughtfully updated example, with Vintage Air conditioning, upgraded steering, power-steering work, and recent rear brake components adding comfort and confidence without changing the car’s essential character.

Why This Car Matters
The 1968 model marked the beginning of the C3 generation and was also the final year Chevrolet offered the 327ci V8 in the Corvette. Pairing the 300-horsepower small-block with a 4-speed manual transmission gives this car the kind of engaging, open-road character that helped make the early C3 Corvette an American performance icon.

You are correct that the Stingray on the fenders is a 69 option, they were on the car when I purchased it. I did add other 69 options: inserts in the fender louvers, right sde mirror.
Thank you
I noticed it had “Stingray” above the gills that was not applied until the 1969 model year. Did you add that?
