What are the date codes on the tires?

  • richinfer says:

What year was the vehicle built? Do the power window operate normally? Other than the all the gauges and AC, does everything else operate normally in the car? Basically, what’s wrong with the vehicle? Can you list items that need work?

  • richinfer says:

Do you know what kind of tires are on the car?

  • richinfer says:

Do you Know why this so much preload on the left rear Shock? The rear end looks like it was leaking and maybe wiped off. Does it leak badly? Is there any play in the Steering? Does it go straight when you’re driving it at 50 or 60 miles an hour up the highway.

    • We haven’t driven it that fast at the dealership, but does drive straight at 40mph. The rear end isn’t leaking, we didn’t spend a lot of time wiping it clean after it was power washed. The painted underside shows all the dirt. Rea rend is not actively leaking.

  • richinfer says:

Is this car all metal? What kind of tires are on it? What’s the rear end gear ratio? Is the air-conditioning operational? Why is there a broomstick holding the trunk lit up? Where is the gas leak coming from? Why is there so much preload on the left rear coil over? Does the engine and transmission have any leaks? Do I have gauges work? To the blinkers work? Thanks

    • Just the hood is steel, the body is fiberglass. Don’t know what the rear end ratio is. The AC needs a charge. The truck doesn’t have prop rods to hold the trunk up. No leaks on engine and trans. Gas gauge and speedo, don’t work but the Tach does. Gas isn’t leaking, but the carbs could use new gaskets at some point. Yes the blinkers work.
