Not a major thing but the small spot of rust by the emblem in photo #14, is that something that you guys can fix or will that be up to the buyer? Otherwise, this car seems in very good condition. Thanks!

Do you have any pictures of the restoration or other proof that it was a frame off rotisserie restoration? That might indicate the time frame, etc. Any ownership history?
Hello, the only additional document I have is the original title. It did not come with additional info. The broker from whom we got it could not provide any additional info either (we did ask). I believe it came out of an estate, and like many estate cars, I get, they often have history that gets discarded by the next of kin, which is most likely what happened in this instance. Thanks!

Sorry for the slow reply. I was out of town and got back this morning. I don’t have documentation outlining when the restoration was started or completed. Based on its condition, my best guess would be within the last five years. It was a rotisserie restoration. It is a beautiful car. Thank you for your questions.
Sorry to be such a pain, but how do you know that it was a rotisserie restoration since you have no photos or other information? Also, is the mileage since restoration or total original mileage of the car? You say it is “believed to be original” but if so, why would the car need a total (rotisserie restoration at such low mileage? Thanks, just trying to establish value before I bid and set my limit.
No bother. Being that the 1968 Camaro doesn’t have a traditional full frame, it’s a unibody (or unitary) construction vehicle, which specifically utilizes a detachable front subframe. It wouldnt of had a “Frame-off” restoration, therefore the restoration would have been rotisserie in order to replace or restore it. It’s pretty clear after looking at as many cars as we have over the years to conclude whether a car has undergone a restoration.
The mileage was a claim by a previous owner (a note left in the car). I didn’t make the judgment, I only stated what the note claimed, which is why we said “believed.” You’re right, without any documentation its just words and anyone could say anything. Being low miles, though, in some cases, really doesn’t mean a car might not need restoring. It really depends on how the car was stored for its life before someone decided to rejuvenate it. I assume the mileage is total miles based on the claim; however, I don’t have records to say either way. Thanks!
