1983 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS Coupe with just 39,000 original miles. This is a two-owner, original car that still wears its factory white paint and features a well-preserved blue and white cloth interior in excellent condition.

Under the hood is the numbers-matching 5.0L High Output (L69) 305CI V8, equipped with a Rochester Quadrajet 4-barrel carb, aluminum intake, and a 9.5:1 compression ratio. This engine borrowed its camshaft from the 1982 Corvette’s L81 V8, making 175 hp and 240 lb-ft of torque. It’s paired with a 350 3-speed automatic transmission and column shift.

Loaded with options, this Monte Carlo SS has power steering, power brakes, power windows, power locks, cruise control, cold A/C, and a tilt wheel. Inside, you’ll find bench seating with SS-logo embroidered headrests and a new Kenwood AM/FM radio with four speakers. The windows are tinted, and the full gauge cluster includes a tachometer.

The body is straight, never hit, and complete with all trim and proper SS decals on the doors and trunk lid, which also sports a slim spoiler. It rides on an F41 handling suspension with new rear brakes and new Hankook Kinergy ST tires, mounted on NOS wheels from a 1987 Monte Carlo (original wheels were unavailable when the second owner purchased the car in 2023). Tires are 225/70/R15 up front and 235/70/R15 in the rear.

The spacious trunk is clean with full carpeting, a spare, and a jack. Underneath, the dual exhaust with chrome tips looks great, and the car has been recently tuned to run and handle smoothly.
