As a car enthusiast and overall enjoyer of German Sports cars, I wanted to note a few things about the history of this particular M6 and mention a few areas that may need massaging when this car comes into your future ownership.

I am the 3rd owner of this M6, with the previous 2 owners having been acquaintances of mine. When I first came across this BMW I was simply an admirer from afar, watching it be loved and tastefully modified by both previous owners. When owner #2 decided to sell the car, I was one of the ones reached out to as I had displayed my interest years before. He was downsizing his garage and I knew how well it had served him, therefore it was a perfect addition to my fleet of other BMWs.

Years later I find myself in a similar situation, with less of a need for a 2 door manual sports car, I am looking for the next owner who will hopefully love (and drive) the hell out of this car and add another 100,000 miles to the odometer.

While I can sing the praises of this car all day long, there is a small bulleted list below of things I would pay attention to post purchase:

– Very slow leak on a power steering line

– Tires are in decent shape, but are dated 2012 and will need replaced sooner than later

– SRS Airbag light is flashing from swapping the steering wheel that the BMW dealer confirmed is working, but the light remains on

– Battery is 7 years old and cranks hard, but might be something to replace if the car does not want to start in the far future
