1972 Pontiac Grand Prix Model J The third-generation Grand Prix, a gentlemans muscle car, was one of John DeLoreans most successful creations. Characterized by its strong lines, long hood, stretched A-body (called a G-body) chassis, and prominent Pontiac grille, it reinvented the luxury/performance car genre. The previous owner claimed that he believed the 61,000 miles was actual, (title shows exempt) based on the condition of the car inside and out it could very well be.

When I was 18 turning 19, I ended up owning a Big Boat I thought at the time, It was an 69 SJ Grand Prix Yes with the 428 in it, I never appreciated it at the time because like most kids I wanted a Camaro, or a Shelby , And who would want this thing, Car was a Rocket ship, It got stolen at a Bowling alley about 18 months later, Now being an avid Pontiac and GTO fan, Currently own a Judge Convertible, I realize , Good God I had that car, The Holy Grail of Grand Prix Pontiacs . This is an extremely nice car, I want to bid, But I am out of room, To many Cars. GLWA
Is Red the factory color.? Was it repainted, and if so, when?
from the seller:
It does appear to the original color, it has been repainted somewhere along the way but we have no records of when or by who.
