This beautiful banana yellow Corvette is a truly amazing result of a complete rethink of what a late ’70s Corvette should have been. It received updated bodywork with a custom C4 Corvette-style rear end treatment and fiberglassed bumpers, making the entire body free of panel lines. This gives the car a unique, seamless appearance. Added to this is a custom ’67 Corvette big block stinger-style hood and mirrored glass T-tops. The car was then coated in a custom House of Kolor metal flake yellow with a painted Grand Sport-style stripe in black. The factory Rallye wheels were polished to a high degree and fitted with white letter Firestone Indy 500 radials for a period-correct look.

Inside, the black vinyl interior has been upgraded with Dakota Digital gauges, a Retrosound AM/FM/USB/MP3 stereo, custom speakers, and ice-cold A/C. Under the hood is where the biggest improvements have been made, with a fresh GM Performance ZZ383 crate engine producing more than double the factory horsepower. The monster motor makes a GM-certified 425 HP and 450 lb-ft of torque. The stock four-speed was removed and replaced with a modern TREMEC TKO 5-speed with overdrive for long cruises at high speed with low RPM. This transformation makes this classic Corvette a lot of fun to drive and enjoyable for long-haul cruises.

This Corvette is everything the car should have been in 1977 and is a blast to drive.
