1916 White Truck 3/4 Ton Model GBBE

This is a highly rare and authentic 1916 White 3/4 Ton Truck Model GBBE. Originally acquired by the Able Rug Company of Allston, MA, this truck boasts a 4-cylinder “GK” engine and a 3-speed manual transmission. Its features include a wood steering wheel and a vinyl-covered bench seat, both in excellent condition, as well as an original brass White radiator and a removable hood. The truck is started by crank and bears its original gold leaf logo on both sides. Its cab is protected by an original canvas top, still in good condition.

Previously used in the rug business until the 1970s, it was then sold to a collector in NH and is now located in MA. The truck runs and drives exceptionally well and maintains a very nice original condition, appearing clean from top to bottom with no rust visible. All wooden components are in excellent shape. The original wheels are fitted with newer Goodrich Silvertown tires, and there is an extra spare mounted on the side. Additionally, it comes with a display sign and maintenance manual as shown.
