"Some cars are meant to be driven, and some are just special enough to tuck away and collect. This is a 2013 Special Edition 1 of 100 limited STI in tangerine orange pearl. This STI has only 7,000 original miles and is in showroom condition inside and out! The special edition cars also received black exterior graphics to set them apart. These are one of the most sought after cars in the rally industry and to commemorate that, Subaru decided to release these super limited edition STI's.
EXTERIOR: Finished in tangerine orange pearl, this Subaru certainly stands out to those Halloween lovers. The trim is accented in black as well as the black vinyl decals along the lower portion of the car. It's finished in STI appearance trim giving it the larger hood scoop, lower front lip, STI side skirts, and massive STI rear wing. The wheels are a gloss black 18"" forged BBS wheel with a very grippy all season tire wrapped around them with plenty of tread, The exhaust out the rear bumper is quad tipped dual giving off that nice rumble Subarus are known for. Overall, with 7,000 original miles this car is in showroom condition.
INTERIOR: The interior is finished in STI stitching. The black leather is tied together with that exclusive special edition orange stitch. The floor mats have the same matching orange stitching and are stored in the trunk, having never been installed! The front seats are heated sport buckets with STI logos on the headrest area. The center console has a light up STI logo. The shift knob, steering wheel, and e Brake handle are all leather wrapped with stitching. The shift boot matches the rest of the trim with orange stitching. Overall, its spotless in the interior, just like how it was new! This car has nice features like heated front seats, tilt steering wheel, cruise control, hands free radio, and air conditioning. All very usable while rallying this through the streets or track!
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Underneath the hood you'll find the very peppy 2.5L 4 cylinder turbo charged engine producing 305 HP and 300 lb ft torque. Don't let the size of the engine fool you; this STI will outperform a lot of cars on the market! The 6 speed manual transmission has long gears making this car not only reach a very high top highway speed but the ratio also lets you zip around in corners on the track!
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: The trunk pops by a lever on the driver side floor. Inside you'll see the fully carpeted trunk liner. Underneath the trunk mat is a full-size spare with original jack and tools that has never been unmounted. The trunk space is surprisingly large and if needed, you can fold down the rear seats to store an even larger number of items.
UNDERSIDE: Underneath the car is very clean. The AWD system consists of a center differential in the trans, a rear differential, and a driveshaft. That makes this an asymmetrical full time AWD system. There is a diff controller in the center console allowing you to shift between sport, sport sharp, and intelligent modes. The traction control handling is also able to be turned off by the push of a button. The car sits on an independent suspension with massive 4 wheel Brembo disc brakes.
