Like all Corvettes since mid-1981, this car was made in General Motors' Bowling Green, Kentucky factory (VIN code 5), this car is finished in rarely seen supersonic blue, the car's paint and trim are in nearly flawless condition. The car has a gray, power-folding top that goes well with the paint hue. The car's body-colored bumpers fit tightly and the engine bay is tidy. The sixth-generation car or C6, was made from 2005 to 2013 and was the first Corvette model to have exposed headlights since 1962.
Blessed with aftermarket goodies from Lingenfelter, the well-known aftermarket speedmaker in Decatur, Indiana, this example, has been enhanced in power, shall we say, over a stock 'Vette. An Edelbrock E-Force TVS2300 intercooled supercharger generating 670 horsepower has been fitted along with 565 pounds-feet of torque. Other goodies include: black powder coated finish; Lingenfelter CNC engraved logo; based on OEM Eaton supercharger unit; Lingenfelter CNC ported LS3 cylinder heads; Lingenfelter dual valve springs, titanium retainers, 10� locks; Lingenfelter GT9 camshaft by Competition Cams; properly sized fuel injectors; Kenne Bell Boost-a-pump fuel pump voltage booster; Lingenfelter 160�F thermostat; professional installation, testing and calibration; chassis dyno report before and after installation; excellent drivability, highway mileage not adversely affected; Lingenfelter 3-year/36,000-mile warranty; Lingenfelter chrome fender, interior and engine badge; and Lingenfelter certificate of authenticity. This two-seater rolls on Ventus V12 evo 2 radials, size 275/35ZR19 in front and 325/30ZR19 in back. Each tire is mounted on unique lightweight forged aluminum wheels. The car has cross-drilled front rotors with six-piston calipers and four-piston calipers in back with brake rotors. The car sports a nearly equal front-rear weight distribution percentage at 51/49. The fuel tank holds 18 gallons.
The Grand Sport (GS) trim replaces the previous Z51 option. The GS was equipped with the following enhancements:

Under the forward-hinged hood is a supercharged 6.2L OHV V-8 engine with 16 valves. Lingenfelter added an Edelbrock E-force supercharger, among other hardware. Backing this motor is a Tremec six-speed manual transmission with a 3.42:1 final drive with power being sent to the rear wheels.
Driver convenience features are extensive - dual-zone electronic climate control; power rack-and-pinion steering with variable ratios; power four-wheel disc brakes; cruise control; power windows, power and heated sideview mirrors; power locks; six-way power adjustable and heated seats; and tilt and power-telescoping steering column.
Safety equipment includes - dual front airbags plus dual side impact airbags; anti-lock brakes (ABS); traction control; active handling; auto-dimming mirrors; compass; Xenon high-intensity discharge headlights; automatic-on headlights and foglights; cabin air filtration; keyless access with pushbutton start; tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS); heads-up display (HUD) and Vehicle Anti-Theft System (VATS).
