Gateway classic cars of Detroit is proud to present this 1991 Dodge Shadow convertible. The Dodge Shadow was the successor to the Omni, which everyone knows thanks to Carroll Shelby with the Omni glh(s). This one in particular, is sporting a 2.5 L Turbo I4 that has a 2 piece intake manifold and a larger 6 quart oil pan. The long block engine was completely rebuilt around 5k miles ago. All that power from the engine is mated to a 5-speed Getrag manual transmission. Although this is not a shelby, it still goes like hell! Finished in white, with a white convertible top, its as clean as it is quick! Step inside and youre greeted with a gray cloth interior and surrounded by a 5-piece welded in roll cage, incase you want to track this car. And with only around 1200 made with a turbo, 5-speed, and convertible top, youll be sure to stand out from the rest! Other newer parts that were done around the engine rebuild include: suspension (KYB Excel G struts, Eibach 2 lowering springs, newer bushings, bearings and bushings.), power steering rack and tie rod ends, brakes, master cylinder, rotors, calipers, hoses and pads. Engine timing belt and drive belts we also replaced, and rear disc brakes from a 90 daytona were installed. Also a newer fuel pump and filter, A/C compressor, hoses, condenser, which was converted to R134. Other goodies include a front hood bra and this car does still have the boot cover for the convertible top.Features include: Aftermarket AM/FM/CD radio, power brakes, power steering, power locks, power windows, and power mirrors. This shelby era Dodge is quick, fun, nimble and ready for anything your willing to throw at it!

Our Detroit Showroom opened its doors in June of 2013 and is the fourth addition to Gateway Classic Cars. Detroit has been dubbed as the "Motor City Capital of the World" and has earned that title by being home base for American automobile manufacturers such as General Motors, Ford Motor Company and Dodge/Chrysler. Detroit is also home to the largest automotive gathering in the world, The Woodward Dream Cruise which is hosted annually on the 3rd weekend of August.
Our Detroit Showroom is located in historic "Ford Country" just footsteps from the Ford Motor Company World Headquarters building and a short drive to the General Motors World Headquarters located in the Renaissance Building in Downtown Detroit. Henry Ford once roamed these streets with Model T's, the Dodge brothers raced their way around city roads and extinct companies like Oldsmobile and Pontiac have left us fossils reminding us of the greatest era in automotive history, the muscle car era.
