Made in Crewe, Cheshire, England, this example is one of only 6,238 units made between 1980 and 1989. Dressed in black (code 9500701) with a black, full vinyl roof, the car?s paint and trim are in overall very good order. The car?s bodywork is straight and solid, the engine bay is extremely tidy, the chrome and black vinyl wraparound bumpers are in excellent shape and the battery appears new. This Silver Spur rolls on Hercules MRX + IV whitewall radials, size 225/75R15 at all four corners. Each tire is mounted on a steel wheel topped with a flat, full disc RR wheel cover. The wheels are in very good condition while the tires have above average tread and are in similar condition to the wheel covers. Under the hood is the famous 6.75L OHV 16-valve V-8 engine with ?sufficient? horsepower (code L410I) with Bosch fuel injection. Buttoned to this engine is General Motors? Turbo Hydramatic 400 three-speed automatic transmission and a 3.08:1 final drive. Driver conveniences, are, as expected, lengthy ? electronic automatic climate control, power rack-and-pinion steering, power four-wheel disc brakes, cruise control, power windows, headlamp washers, rear window defroster and period-specific cell phone antenna affixed to the outer rear window. Also included is a hydropneumatic self-leveling suspension with a Girling automatic ride height control system. Inside, the car?s Mulliner Park Ward coachwork has a matching black interior.
