1973 Silver Corvette Convertible For more information visit: https://www.hobbycarcorvettes.net/corvette/1973-silver-corvette-convertible/ CASH PRICE: $ 30000 Transmission: Manual Engine: 350 Mileage: 25,493 on the dash Details 350 engine, 4 speed manual transmission, 25,493 miles on the dash (title is exempt for mileage), power steering, power brakes, black convertible top, black leather interior, tilt and telescopic steering column, original shifter, rally wheels, dual exhaust, original air cleaner assembly, and much more. This corvette spent its life in southern VA, NC, and CA. The previous owners did all kinds of upgrades to this corvette over the years. The current engine was installed in 2009 and has about 26k miles on it. They also redid the suspension, replaced the dual exhaust, power steering pump, power steering control valve, power steering hoses, brake hoses, brake pads, brake calipers, front bumper cover, front springs, shocks, rear spring, rear shocks, strut rods, coil springs, seat covers, steering box, convertible top, rear bumpers, tongue bushing, and much more. They also had the corvette repainted in base coat clear coat paint in 2009. We changed the oil and filter and checked and lubed the chassis. We replaced the left motor mount, harmonic balancer, flywheel, clutch kit, and alternator. This corvette runs and drives really nice. 1973 marked the end of the chrome bumper corvette era with rear chrome bumpers replaced by a rubber bumper in 1974. The 1973 was a one-year-only body design. GM also did away with the vacuum operated wiper door this year in favor of a longer hood to hide the wipers, and dropped the removable back window in favor of a glue-in window.

Hobby Car Auto Sales, Inc. is owned and operated by Bob and R.J. Sottile, a father and son team. It started as a hobby and evolved into our family business, hence the name Hobby Cars. We opened our business in 1986 with just 13 Corvettes. We have expanded our inventory so that now there are over 70 Corvettes available. Because of this, we were able to expanded our original building two years ago. The addition of our new building has helped us to house more of our inventory.
Bob, the owner, has been involved in the car industry his entire life. He started out pumping gas at a local gas station and from there was hooked. He has owned a variety of different cars over the years, but he has built his business selling Corvettes.Through hard work and long hours, Bob turned his love of cars into a business he can be proud of.
RJ, the head salesman, has been in this position since the age of three. He has worked in the family business side by side with his dad his entire childhood. After high school, he attended WyoTech, where he received an Associates Degree in business. RJ has taken the family business to the next level by making it available globally online. You can find him under the hood of a corvette, in the showroom with a customer, listing new inventory online, or on the road searching for new Corvettes to buy.
Mason, the junior head salesman, is the new kid in town. He loves coming to the shop to work with Pappy and RJ. He is learning about Corvettes side by side with Pappy just like RJ used to do.
