1969 Plymouth Road Runner Convertible Clone Why This Car Is Special The Plymouth Road Runner was a mid-size car with a focus on performance built by Plymouth in the United States between 1968 and 1980. Plymouth developed the Road Runner to market a lower priced, basic trim model to its upscale GTX. We have a sharp orange 1969 Plymouth Road Runner Convertible Clone that looks and drives every bit like what they looked like back then here at Skyway Classics. It was built to emulate the purpose-built muscle car by Plymouth that was meant to go fast while retaining a spartan look and interior, meaning less weight and frills.
