1969 OLDSMOBILE 442 W-32
This 1969 Oldsmobile 442 Sport Coupe is one of 297 optioned with the W-32 package for the model year. This is a rare 1 of 25 correct W-32 Sport Coupe 1969 Oldsmobile 442. And even more rare only 1 of 8 Post Cars were built. Total production W-32's were 297 total units made, 247 Holiday Coupes, 25 Sport Coupes, and 25 Convertibles. A frame-off rotisserie restoration, numbers matching with 995 miles since completion. The original window sticker, original broadcast card and Rocket Report certificate come with the car. The car is an excellent original example that has been restored to a high standard. The W-32 package was a slightly toned-down version of the infamous W-30. The W-32 package was powered by a Ram Air 400 cubic inch displacement engine producing 350 horsepower an astonishing 440 ft lbs or torque. All were equipped with turbo 400 automatic transmissions, limited slip rear ends, special camshaft and heavy-duty coolings system.
Finished in its original Glade Green and Black Stripes featuring red fiberglass inner fenders. This is a restored original example which retains all its factory components. When you raise the factory ram air hood you will find the factory correct carburetor, # 702925, special 286-degree cam with 472 lift, specific distributor, water pump and aluminum fan with clutch.
The interior is period correct with ebony black bucket seats and rear bench seat. The steering wheel fronts Rally Pac instrumentation including a 120-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer with an inset clock, and a combination gauge with readouts for fuel level, coolant temperature, and oil pressure. Additional interior appointments include front compartment floor console, push button AM radio, auxiliary rear speakers. The car is equipped with power steering, and stopping power is provided by power-assisted front disc and rear drum brakes. Period-correct style reproduction Hurst wheels.
As with all muscle cars the fast, cool, and rare muscle car will only go up in price. You can be assured Oldsmobile's are a great investment and will only increase in value.
