1969 R code 428 Torino Cobra, never any rust underneath and floor boards look like the car just came off the assembly line other than some dust. Trunk has the original trunk mat, all chrome and trim is perfect. Car is original and comes with the original smog pump, steering wheel and wheel covers. Currently has magnum 500 wheels on it. This is a true survivor except for one high dollar repaint. Zero rust EVER, never drag raced or abused. Deluxe Marti report comes with vehicle. This car was sold new in California, and remained there all of its life. I purchased the car from the widow of the long time owner who was a retired Ford dealer mechanic, and enclosed transported it to Michigan. The car has not seen rain for 40 years, The odometer shows 11,800 miles, the title from the State of California shows no mileage or date in the mileage area from the state. The sellers wife wrote 111,280 so not sure if she made a mistake. Motor looks nearly new, runs like new, we went thru all the brakes and installed factory tail pipes with correct part number tips at time of purchase the car has had about 400 miles put on it since then. Origanal build sheet found under original carpet that I changed out because it was faded, so found the one stuck to the driver side floor and one in the rear. I am a long time collector but illness forces sale, inspections are welcome, you will not find a more original R code in this price range. One sold at Mechum Kissimmee couple weeks back car hammered for $53,000 plus 10% buyers fee and it had been an old street racer tons of modifications, sheet metal replaced not nearly as nice as this car but it was a 4 speed, this one is priced to sell.
