Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale would like to introduce to the world, for sale on consignment, this gorgeous 1969 Chevrolet El Camino. It doesnt get much more American than an El Camino! Is it a car? Is it a truck? Is it a muscle car? Why cant it be all 3? Based on the Chevelle platform, it was an easy choice for Chevy to throw SS trim on to attract a bigger audience. Fast forward to today and using resto-mod technology, you have a well dressed 5.7L 350 cubic inch LS1 engine matched to a 6 speed automatic transmission both with just over 6000 miles since being rebuilt and installed. The Hugger Orange paint shows very well with the black accent racing stripes up the hood for a little contrast. Inside you will find a Grant steering wheel, modern heated bucket seats each with their own arm rest, a center console with the emergency brake relocated behind the floor shifter, aftermarket A/C and an aftermarket AM/FM/CD player. The lowered stance gives a bit of attitude while the custom 18" wheels give a glimpse at the power front disc brakes, a pair of 20" wheels in the rear tuck nicely inside the wheel wells for the ideal look. A push of the button opens up the custom fabricated tonneau cover to reveal a clean Inyati spray in bedliner. Other features include power steering, tilt column, window tint and custom gauges. Contact our sales staff by phone or email to get more details on how to bring this one home to your garage.

Our Scottsdale showroom is Gateway Classic Cars’ 16th location and opened in September 2017. We are located in Phoenix, Arizona which is one of the fastest growing cities in the United States and our reputation as the ‘Valley of the Sun’ allows for a year-round car season and a perfect environment to preserve vintage automobiles. Scottsdale is known as the home of the famous Barrett Jackson auction that draws thousands of collectors and enthusiasts to the Phoenix area every year. Our large and growing inventory includes plenty of desirable ‘southwest cars’ that have not been exposed to road salt and inclement weather like in many other US locations. We encourage our local car clubs and enthusiasts to come check us out on the last Saturday of every month for our Cars and Coffee event and cruise around our awesome 42,000 square-foot, air conditioned showroom.
