"Original Drivetrain Camaro Z28 DZ 302 V8 4-speed MacNeish Certified.
RK Motors of Charlotte is proud to present to you this beautiful 1969 Camaro Z28.
This Z/28 was ordered in Daytona Yellow (Code #76) with a standard black interior (Code #711) along with an optional vinyl roof covering (Code B) and has undergone a frame-off restoration in the original color scheme. The trim tag supports the production colors along with the designation ""X33"" indicating an authentic Z/28. The car has been certified by Jerry MacNeish of Camaro Hi-Performance and Stefano Bimbi of the Nickey Registry with both certification documents accompanying the car.
Notable drivetrain options include the M20 code, wide ration 4-speed transmission with numbers matching mated to the BV coded 4.10 posi-traction rear differential. Additional options include the Z21 interior group with factory tach and gauge package. The 8,000 RPM tachometer along with console mounted gauges monitor fuel level, oil pressure, battery voltage and coolant temperature and add a nice touch to the interior of the car.
Drivetrain has been decoded as follows: Engine: V0221DZ Assembly Date ""618"", Block Casting Date B169 Original 302c.i. Engine Casting # 3956618, Cylinder Head Casting # 3927186 (202 Valves/Double Heads). Transmission: P9B11A Assembly Date 19N604422 ""660"" Case, Original Muncie M20 4-Speed Transmission. Rear Axle: BV0219G Assembly Date with 12 Bolt Axle Housing 4.10 Ratio, Posi-Traction, and original rear end housing.
The quality of the paint is exceptional, and the panel fit, and gaps are better than when the car was new. This car represents a ""cost no object"" restoration to an exacting standard and it retains the options as delivered.
This is an opportunity to own an investment grade, rare, fully documented, and desirable 1969 Camaro Z/28. Arguably one of the best Camaro's ever produced.
