1968 Chevrolet K20 CST For Sale - Beautiful Frame-Off Restoration Highly Optioned LMC is very proud to offer for sale this 1968 Chevrolet K20 CST The C/K was Chevrolet and GMC’s full -size pickup truck line from 1960 until 2000 in the United States and from 1965 to 1999 in Canada. The first Chevrolet pickup truck was introduced in 1924, though in-house designs did not appear until 1930. “C” indicated two-wheel drive and “K” indicated four-wheel drive. A new, more modern look came in 1967, along with a new nickname: “Action Line”. It was with this revision of the C/K truck that General Motors began to add comfort and convenience items to a vehicle line that had previously been for work purposes alone. The standard drivetrain was a three-speed manual transmission and one of two engines; the 250 in3 straight six or the 283 cu in (4.6 L) V8. Optional transmissions were several different four-speed manuals, the Powerglide 2-speed automatic, or the Turbo-Hydramatic 350 and 400 3-speed automatic. The 292 six and the 327 in3 V8 were optional engines. 10-series trucks came with a 6 x 5.5–inch bolt pattern, the 3/4 and 1 ton trucks came with an 8 x 6.5–inch bolt pattern. This 1968 Chevrolet K20 is a four-wheel-drive pickup that is finished in factory two-tone Medium Blue/Off White complemented by a Blue vinyl interior. Power comes from a 327ci V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Additional equipment includes front locking wheel hubs, power brakes, air conditioning, rear step bumper, rear shock absorber, pickup box wood floor, push button radio, oil gauge, tinted glass, side molding and hd rear springs. Recently, this truck underwent a complete frame-off restoration and looks as it did when it rolled off the assembly line. Finishing the look for this special truck are a set of white 16″ steel wheels with super Traxion tires. Classic trucks have become very popular with collectors in recent years as they are reminiscent of simpler times. This K20 is very nicely restored and highly optioned compared to most of the examples that were produced. Additional Details: 1968 CHEVROLET C10 PICKUP -
