"From the Greg Grams C-2 luxury and comfort Corvette collection. Greg started selling these corvettes in the early 70s as used cars and kept selling them as they became collector items. Recently he has assembled an impressive collection of 1963-1967 Corvettes focusing on air-conditioned coupes. He has run each one through our shop and they are very functional and dialed in ready to enjoy. He took the time to assemble display boards with miscellaneous literature, NCRS shipping reports, window stickers and more. Each car comes with a jack and spare. Since the early 70s when he started collecting, these cars have not been known to go down in value. Drive an investment!
57,000 miles, #s matching and loaded! Documented with original tank sticker, 40 years of owner history and NCRS shipping report. Very rare and desirable air-conditioned big block coupe!
EXTERIOR: The body is in excellent shape; no damage and it fits right. Headlights open and close properly, doors shut like new. The stinger hood indicates there is a 427 sitting under it. Original Marina Blue paint shows really well. I assumed it was repainted, the previous owner corrected me and said it's mostly original. The chrome, trim, glass and weatherstrips all look very good. The side exhaust looks great and sounds even better! The radial redline tires are only a year old and are wrapped around the ""bolt on"" aluminum wheels.
INTERIOR: The interior is unabused and looking good! This interior backs up the low miles. It's also full of options including genuine leather upholstery and headrests. It also has shoulder belts, power windows and the speed warning dial. The dash pads, instruments, knobs, radio, glovebox, and console all look great. The gauges all work, clock is upgraded to quartz. Carpet front to back looks great, it has the jack in the rear compartment. Door panels, headliner, visors all look great too.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Original #s matching 427-390 hp engine. We have verified casting numbers, dates, and the VIN stamp. Photos are online for your own inspection too. The factory tri-power has been added bringing it up to 400 hp. It has correct air cleaner, valve covers, ignition shielding etc. The factory air conditioning is a big deal, a rare and expensive option in 1967. This one also has power steering and brakes. The cooling system is correct including radiator, shroud, reproduction hoses and clamps. Overall clean and proper.
UNDERSIDE: It has independent suspension front and back and it looks fresh! Disc brakes at all four wheels, e-brake is hooked up. Looking up at the motor it is clean, has correct canister type oil filter. It has its original VIN number matching M-20 Muncie 4-speed trans. In back is its original 3.08 posi rear with correct date and code. The frame and chassis components are solid metal painted black. The fiberglass floors are clean, and the spare tire carrier is complete.
SERVICE: Just prior to us buying it the tires were replaced and carburetors were rebuilt. We did our own inspection, and we charged the air conditioning with R12 Freon, replaced the ammeter gauge, repaired a turn signal socket, gave it an alignment, lubed the window channels, replaced all four brake calipers, and bled the system.
I personally drove this car about 20 miles on some back roads. One Sunday morning we took a few Vettes to breakfast, it was great, I loved shifting gears and hearing those pipes.
I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail. **These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car, make an appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded, and you will be given a 1 year membership.
