I purchased this vehicle from a private seller in Arizona. Vehicle was an earlier restoration that was not completed. This is obviously not a numbers matching car but it is a high end resto- o-mod. This is a zero rust Arizona car and no expense was spared in the re-build. All panels are factory except the hood. During shipping a slight mishap was noticed on the hood. It was so slight that I didnt notice it and signed and cleared the shipping. My mechanic called me from the shop and pointed it out to me. It was ever so slight but the support framing under the hood made it impossible to repair and required a new metal hood. Everything on this vehicle has been replaced. The 409/425 engine was pulled and delivered to Lamar Walden in Doraville GA. Engine rebuild as follows: upgraded to a 482 cu. in./572 hp., 4ť stroker with Scat forged rotating assembly, 10.5 compression ratio, the 690 heads were replaced with Lamar Walden aluminum heads, two 600 Edelbrock carbs, 1963 X block, Comp Cams special grind hydraulic roller (developed by Walden and Comp Cams for these 482 inch engines, the firing order has been changed to 18736542, rebuilt Borg Warner cast iron 4 speed, 9 Currie with 325 gear, Hotchkis rear suspension, rack and pinion steering, Classic Air, power steering, ABS Electro braking system, stainless 2 1/2ť exhaust, Wilwood 4 wheel disk brakes, Ciadella complete leather upholstery with leather padded dash, Stay Fast convertible top with glass rear window, True Spoke Supreme steel 15â€ť nickel chrome plated wheels, Quiet stock mufflers and 572 hp when needed. This vehicle won two classes at the 2018, (see the plaques in the photo’s) Super Chevy Show at Memphis International Race Way, best in class and best in modified because of the engine compartment. Everything on this vehicle, top and under has been replaced. Vehicle drives GREAT. Its quiet and strong. 1200 miles on the vehicle sense rebuild and can be driven anywhere. Have the car inspected or fly to Memphis and drive it.
