This iconic truck has been skillfully upgraded to blend vintage charm with contemporary performance and comfort, making it a great addition to any garage.Under the hood, youll find a robust fuel-injected 5.3L LS-based Vortech V8 engine backed by a 4L60E 4-speed automatic transmission. This powerful combination ensures a smooth and responsive driving experience, for both cruising the open road and tackling daily commutes. The 5.3L V8s performance is enhanced by stainless steel long tube headers, which feed into a true dual exhaust with X-pipe. A custom CVF serpentine belt accessory drive system has been installed, and it has a new alternator, A/C Compressor, water pump, and power steering pump. Engine cooling is handled by a heavy-duty aluminum radiator with electric fan with an adjustable temperature controller, and transmission cooling is augmented by a large transmission cooler.Step inside to discover a custom green and black interior with new materials everywhere. In addition, spray-in sound deader was applied during the build, and the door cavities were also insulated. The green carpet is in great shape, and the custom green and black houndstooth pattern headliner further enhances the custom look. The bench seat is crafted from high-quality synthetic leather, providing both durability and a touch of elegance. The tilt steering column with a wood-rimmed billet aluminum steering wheel adds a modern touch, allowing you to find the ideal driving position, while the seatbelts ensure your safety and that of your passengers. Additional safety improvements include the addition of LED headlights with halo rings for better visibility at night, intermittent/delay windshield wipers and the relocation of the fuel tank to below the bed in between the frame rails. For those warm days, the air conditioning system offers a welcome respite, keeping the cabin cool and comfortable. The rest of the year, just roll down the one-piece door glass and enjoy the breeze. Notably, the wing windows were removed to allow for the larger glass. Enjoy your favorite tunes through the Aurora Design upgraded original radio, now equipped with Bluetooth capability for seamless connectivity to your devices.Driving this classic truck is a breeze, thanks to its improved suspension: both the front and rear were transplanted from a Ford Crown Victoria, so the ride quality is quite good. In addition, this sweet ride features power steering and 4-wheel power disc brakes, which provide enhanced control and stopping power. The radial tires mounted on rally wheels not only complement the trucks aesthetic but also offer improved traction and stability on various road surfaces.
