1951 Mercury 2Dr Coupe
Mercury 2Dr Coupe. It\'s not often you see a 51 Mercury Coupe this pristine and original. A true time capsule car this Mercury has only 42,000 miles since new. The interior shows very little wear, all instruments and radio are in working order. Transmission is 3 speed with overdrive, clutch is smooth, shifting is quiet and effortless. Original Flathead V8 is so quiet you can\'t hear it run. It never runs hot. She drives like a dream, steering and suspension as it should be, overdrive functions properly, it\'s a quiet ride no shakes, squeeks or rattles, doors close properly and the windows roll up and down with ease on their original felts. Chrome is original the Yosemite Green paint was redone 20 years ago and still looks great. It appears the engine has never been out of this car. Over the years I have performed whatever routine maintenance the car required, normal things such as oil changes, radiator rebuild, voltage regulator, brakes overhauled, a couple of batteries and a carb rebuild. This zero rust car is 100% reliable and needs nothing, I have maintained it and I drive it regularly. Fly to Atlanta and drive it home...anywhere! I have owned this car over 20 years. Please note the price is $37,500, please don\'t waste our time asking me what my \"cash, bottom dollar\" price is before you even see the car. It's $37500. I have a few antique cars but my real passion is motorcycles so if you have a vintage or collectable motorcycle, I could be interested in a trade. If you want to see and test drive my Mercury just give me a call. Thanks John
