Want a cool 40’s Street Rod? Well, we have one here for you at Skyway Classics. It is a fresh build of a 1940 Chevrolet Special Deluxe that not only has a lot of originality but has a classic body with a modern drivetrain.<\/p>\n
Mechanical<\/p>\n
In the engine compartment is a small block Chevy V8 engine with its block painted red and a whole lot of hot rod parts on it like the aluminum intake, custom flamed chrome valve covers, the Summit Racing performance four-barrel carburetor, cast iron factory Chevrolet exhaust headers feeding a dual exhaust system exiting out the back, chrome open element air cleaner, performance ignition and performance spark plug wires.<\/p>\n
It has other accessories too like the power steering and brakes, performance plumbing, high performance coil, and even an Ahooga horn.<\/p>\n
It is backed by an automatic transmission and H.D. rear end while riding on great Chevrolet factory style Rallye Wheels with chrome trim rings and center caps on performance black wall tires.<\/p>\n
Interior<\/p>\n
When you look inside you will see the interior and cockpit with its split bench seat in the front and a matching rear covered in a cloth\/vinyl, black carpet, headliner and door panels.<\/p>\n
There is a black steering wheel with a column-mounted shifter, the dash has a performance gauges in a billet dash, radio, as well as the factory clock on the glove box panel.<\/p>\n
Exterior<\/p>\n
The exterior is painted in a bright yellow paint scheme on the great body featuring its rounded fenders, side running boards, great glass and windshield, bright trim, distinct grille, headlights, and the chrome bumpers front and rear.<\/p>\n
