Early Honda CT70 motors are considered original or \"numbers matching\" if frame and motor #'s are within about 300 of each other. The # difference on this bike is only 36. Which is fairly rare to be so close.The bike was restored about 2 years using as many of the original parts as possible. The handle bars, engine guard and fenders are re-chromed original parts vs reproductions. Many other parts were also chromed like the carb intake, tappet cover, round head cover, rear hub, rear brake arm, rear brake rod and the handle bar clamp. The seat and carb are new reproductions from CHP Motorsports. A very well known supplier of quality replacement parts for Honda mini bikes.The original Nippon Seiki speedometer was restored and the odometer reset to 0. Currently showing 92 miles. The paint and motor rebuild were professionally done. Motor has no leaks or odd noises. All lights and horn work as should. The 6 volt battery was upgraded to a sealed battery. Tires are the original style 400-10 Bridgestone Trial Wings. Bike spent most of it's life in TN.
