For a 60-year-old truck, this one\u2019s a beauty. The older restoration was well done and didn\u2019t go overboard with over-the-top restomod gimmicks. The 3-tone bronze, cream, and black accents paint is well done and the inline 6 powering it all runs strong. The lack of a V8 may be a turn-off to some, but in trucks this old, a dead-simple straight six is an engine that just runs. And runs. And runs. A low reserve auction should bring plenty of action to this listing\u2013and hopefully a lot of chatter in the Comments section from people who\u2019ve owned or driven GM trucks of this era.<\/p>\n

    This truck was purchased in Florida and brought to Iowa this past winter. The restoration date is unknown, but based on paint chips and the 1980s era AM\/FM cassette deck, the restoration is likely more than 20 years old. Odometer shows 49,332, but we suspect the odometer has gone around 100,000 at least once, hence the 149K number we gave this listing. The aforementioned rock chips in the paint indicate regular use of the truck since its restoration. No AutoCheck information is available due to the truck\u2019s age.<\/p>\n
