We have a gorgeous 1970 fully restored Calypso Coral Mustang here that has been restored to be driven and enjoyed with its 351 cubic inch V8 engine and 4-speed transmission.<\/p>\n

A numbers-matching 1970 Ford Mustang Mach 1 in a rare original color is one of the most desirable Mustangs even made, you know this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Calypso Coral was only offered for a couple of years on the Mustang.<\/p>\n

When you pop the hood you will see the 351 cubic inch engine that has been painted in the correct Ford Racing Blue paint from the engine block to the air cleaner that has 351-2V Decals on top.<\/p>\n

All the other components look great including the distributor, chrome the valve covers, coil, yellow performance spark plug wires, brackets, pulleys, factory cast iron exhaust manifolds, and all sitting in a very clean, restored, painted, and detailed engine compartment.<\/p>\n

Interior<\/strong><\/p>\n

The 1970 Mustang interior was both comfortable and sporty from the factory, so it has been left basically stock with its white interior consisting of white high back buckets that welcome you into the driver’s seat where you will notice the AM\/FM radio, wood grain shifter ball, sport Ford Mustang steering wheel that looks great as you look at the factory gauges in the dash, and even the clock.<\/p>\n

Ford was giving the Mustang an upscale feeling on these upper-level Mach 1s, and you see it in the coordinating wood applique on the center console, radio stack, dash, and door panels, with matching white rear seat, headliner, and black carpet.<\/p>\n

Exterior<\/strong><\/p>\n

Our Mustang being a one-year only design has the fabulous look of a true Mach 1 that includes the fastback profile. Add in the hood scoop, hood pins, black Mach 1 rocker panels, and black striping package on the hood and tail, and this is a terrific muscle machine.<\/p>\n

Calypso Coral paint looks great with the Magnum 500 wheels with raised white letter BF Goodrich Radial TA tires, the rear spoiler, and dual exhaust tips exit the rear.<\/p>\n

The paint is in excellent condition and is sure to earn praise at car shows as well as the underside which shows as much attention to detail as the body as it is painted and looks as new.<\/p>\n
