Shortly after, it received a professional repaint in its original Ford colors\u2014Sheridan Blue with a Glacier Blue roof. The interior was also fully reupholstered, including the front and rear seats, door panels, rear side panels, and headliner. Both bumpers and the grille were re-chromed for a refreshed, period-correct appearance.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"422\" data-end=\"807\">Original-style Coker bias-ply wide whitewall tires were installed, including the spare, and the entire vehicle was rewired using factory-style 6-volt cloth wiring. Under the hood, the original 239 cu. in. Flathead V8 with a 2-barrel Ford carburetor and 3-speed column-shift manual transmission remains intact. A full brake system overhaul was completed, along with a re-cored radiator.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"809\" data-end=\"1058\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">In 2023, new shocks were added front and rear. This car runs smooth and tight, with no rattles or shakes\u2014an absolute joy to cruise around town or take on the open highway.
