5.3L Fuel Injected LS Engine – Starlight Black – 13 Miles Since Rebuilt –<\/p>\n

With a Fuel Injected LS V8 under the hood, this car will beat ‘The Bandit’ at his own game! Buford T Justice won’t be keeping up with this Black and Gold Trans Am.<\/p>\n

Finished in Starlight Black (code 19) with a Gold “”Screaming Chicken”” on the hood and Gold mesh alloy wheels, this car looks the part. The exterior finish is clean and includes glossy black paint, correct gold logos, and straight body lines. There are no hints as to what is under the hood.<\/p>\n

Although the LS is a smaller displacement than the original 6.6L V8 that this car rolled off the factory line with, the LS is a more potent engine that has a nice torque band. In addition to smoother power delivery, the LS is fuel injected, so no worrying about the carburetor. Just turn the key and go! The original hood bulge with correct badging has been retained, keeping with the original look of the car. A 4L60E transmission handles gear selection. The engine was painted in the original Pontiac blue, again for the original look despite the upgraded powerplant.<\/p>\n

The interior is finished in the original black cloth (code 19B) and includes bucket seats, and power windows (code A31). Multiple aftermarket gauges have been neatly installed and are flanked by a carbon fiber look dash panel. The interior shows well all around, and other than the aftermarket gauges and carbon fiber look trim, it has the original look.<\/p>\n

This is simply a clean TransAm that offers a few nice, well integrated upgrades that give this car a modern touch without being obvious. You don’t have to have “”a total lack of respect for the law”” to enjoy this car. Although Buford T Justice wouldn’t approve of this car, “”The Bandit”” certainly would, and we’re sure it will put a smile on your face!<\/p>\n
