1950 Plymouth Business Coupe<\/p>\n

The Plymouth P20 platform was introduced for the 1950 model year, featuring the business coupe as a trim level. It was powered by an Inline 6 engine with an L-Head configuration. The engine specifications include:<\/p>\n

  • Displacement: 217.8 cu in (3.6 L)<\/li>\n
  • Power: 97 HP @ 3600 RPM<\/li>\n
  • Bore: 3.3 inch<\/li>\n
  • Stroke: 4.4 inch<\/li>\n
  • Compression: 7.0:1<\/li>\n
  • Main Bearings: 4<\/li>\n
  • Cylinder Block: Cast-iron<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    The factory carburetor was a Carter BB-D6H1 1-barrel carburetor. The engine and parts, including the oil bath air cleaner, are very original. The car comes with a 3-speed manual transmission.<\/p>\n

    Paint and Body:\u00a0 The car features an older paint job in 1949 New Brunswick Blue (code 606) with added metallic for a nice glow. It has a wide-mouth, three-piece chrome grille with tastefully placed running lights. The car has straight lines, great gaps, and correct trim pieces and emblems. It boasts a split front windshield and dual wipers. An exterior sun visor across the top of the front windshield not only adds functionality but also creates an iconic antique look. Other features include fender skirts, nice stainless steel rocker panels, and chrome bumper guards on both the front and rear bumpers.<\/p>\n

    Interior: The interior is absolutely stunning with a real wood grain gauge cluster and dash. The seats and door panels are a burgundy and gray two-tone. The carpeting and headliner are in very good condition. All interior knobs and crank handles are in good condition. The large three-spoke Ebony steering wheel features a woodgrain surround around the horn button with the Plymouth logo. The car also has a factory original chrome push-button AM radio and a factory original clock. The interior controls are functionally placed, adding to the luxurious feel.<\/p>\n

    Wheels and Tires:\u00a0 The steel rims are painted to match the color of the car and are adorned with beautiful chrome beauty rings and \u201cMoon\u201d hub caps. The car rides on wide white wall radial tires, with a matching spare wheel and tire, ensuring no need for a mismatched doughnut spare in case of a flat.<\/p>\n

    The 1950 Plymouth Business Coupe is a well-preserved classic with a blend of original features and stylish touches that enhance its vintage appeal.<\/p>\n
