This 2007 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 convertible is powered by a supercharged 5.4-liter V8 paired with a six-speed manual transmission and is finished in Vista Blue Metallic over Dark Charcoal leather. Equipment includes gray stripes, a limited-slip differential, 18″ forged alloy wheels, a black soft top, a rear spoiler, a Shaker 500 sound system, a six-disc CD stereo, satellite radio, cruise control, and air conditioning.<\/p>\n

This Shelby GT500 convertible has 14k miles and is now offered with a window sticker, the owners manual, two keys, a convertible top boot, an accident-free Carfax report, and a clean New Jersey title in the sellers name. The car is finished in Vista Blue Metallic with gray stripes and features a power-retractable black soft top, fog lights, hood vents, a rear spoiler, Shelby badging, and polished exhaust outlets.<\/p>\n

Polished 18″ forged alloy wheels are mounted with Goodyear Eagle F1 tires. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes with Brembo front calipers, and the car is equipped with an SVT-tuned suspension. The cabin features sport bucket seats upholstered in Dark Charcoal leather with embossed Shelby Cobra logos on the backrests. Equipment includes a Shaker 500 sound system, satellite radio, a six-disc CD stereo, cruise control, and air conditioning.<\/p>\n

The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6k-rpm redline as well as gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, boost pressure, and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 14k miles, approximately.<\/p>\n

The supercharged 5.4-liter DOHC V8 was factory rated at 500 horsepower and 480 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Tremec six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential.<\/p>\n

Over the top stripes were not available on Shelby convertibles from Ford and to me the car looked too plain without them. Ford had a problem with their vinyl stripes fading. These stripes are professionally painted metallic Tungsten colored stripes that match the stripe on the side of the car. They are also clear coated and will never fade. Adding them made the car \u201cpop\u201d big time. Only the stripes were clear coated (not the hood or the trunk of the car).<\/p>\n

CARFAX shows only 1 oil change done on the car. Reason is oil changes were done personally by the previous owner of the car. It was changed religiously every 2,500 miles using only Motor craft 5W-50 oil and Motor craft FL-820-S oil filters. A record of the oil changes are logged in a notepad in glove box of the car.<\/p>\n
