The ZR-1 badge has long represented the pinnacle of Corvette performance for enthusiasts. Originally introduced as an RPO (Regular Production Option) code for the 1970-1972 Corvette, the ZR-1 came with a solid-lifter, 370-horsepower small-block V8, with just 53 units produced. The ZR-1 returned in 1990, now with a Lotus-designed, all-aluminum, 4-cam, 32-valve V8 called the LT5, generating 375 horsepower. In the C6 era, the ZR1 featured a 6.2L supercharged LS9 V8, putting out 638 horsepower. For the final front-engine, rear-drive generation, Chevrolet unleashed a 755-horsepower, 715 lb-ft C7 ZR1, making it the most powerful GM vehicle in its history.
The heart of the seventh-generation ZR1 is the 6.2L LT5, paying homage to the C4’s LT5 but as an all-aluminum, overhead valve successor to the LS9. With forged internals, a dual-feed fuel injection system, and a 2.6L Eaton supercharger 56% larger than the Z06’s, the LT5 powers the ZR1 to unprecedented performance. GM engineers incorporated a hood cutout to fit the supercharger, allowing direct cooling and solving a thermal issue present in the C7 Z06. For the first time, buyers had a choice of transmission: the GM 8L90 automatic or a seven-speed manual. The ZR1’s cooling and aero package were direct adaptations from the C7.R race car, with a front underwing for downforce and a large, frame-mounted rear wing (with the ZTK package) for balance at speed. With extra radiators and front grilles, the ZR1 stays cool even during track laps on hot days.
Equipped with carbon-fiber body panels, carbon-ceramic Brembo brakes, and Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires (or Cup 2s with the ZTK), the ZR1 optimizes both acceleration and stopping power.

The car has not been tracked. The one owner used it for weekend pleasure use and it has been stored covered in a climate controlled facility on his horse farm.
Is the Reserve going to open or is this deal dead? Is there Paint Protection Film on this car?

The reserve is not going to open until a bid that is equal to the proper value of this limited production super Corvette. As to your query regarding PPF, there is not any PPF on the vehicle.
Does the car have paint protection film and if so, what are the areas of coverage? Are the styrofoam rotor protectors included in the sale? Are all maintenance records included as well. Thank you.

There is not any PPF on the vehicle. The styrofoam rotor protectors we do not have either. There are a few service invoices on the vehicle for small repairs but not much as the vehicle only has just over 2,300 miles. Thank you.
