Does your Viper just not have enough trunk space? Need something that can haul lumber at 150 MPH? Is your current truck just too sloppy on the corners? Or are you simply looking for something Viper-powered to tow your Viper to the track?
If you answered “yes” to any of those questions, here’s the solution: this 2006 Dodge Ram SRT-10. With a Viper V10, an automatic transmission and a performance suspension, this Ram is the pinnacle of performance truck evolution and flat-out the fastest full-sized pickup truck ever built. Now out of production, you will spend a long, long time looking for a cleaner, lower-mileage SRT-10 than this.
If you’re one of those people who wonder why a pickup truck needs 500 horsepower, this probably isn’t for you. If, on the other hand, you’re one of those lunatics who think that 500 horsepower in a flying brick is just your kind of insanity, then by all means, please read on. The Ram SRT-10 is true to the performance ideals that created the original Dodge Viper: keep it simple and make it fast.
This particular SRT-10 has only 11k miles from new, and was previously owned by famous automobile designer Chip Foose. The vehicle was built specifically for the 2006 SEMA show and he later used it to tow around his Black Hemisfear on a carbon fiber trailer. Much like the Dodge Ram SRT-10, the vehicle uses a massive 8.3-liter V10 engine pumping out a healthy 500 hp and 525 lb-ft borrowed from the Viper linked in this specification to an automatic transmission sending power to the rear wheels. The SRT-10 was also offered with a six-speed manual, but only for the regular cab.
Aside from the body graphics and the logos embroidered on the seats, the Dodge Ram Pickup Custom also has a Borla exhaust system and sits on Foose’s own set of large wheels measuring 26 inches at the rear and 24 inch in the front. After all, the truck was built to appear at SEMA where everything is supersized. Fans of the Hemisfear will notice an illustration of the hot rod coupe on the bed cover, complemented on the inside by a similar graphic on the headrests.

I see there is only a partial vin listed. Street legal? May I trouble you to provide the full VIN so I can pull a Carfax and review the mechanical history? Thank you.
