The unicorn of the 2000 movie Gone in 60 Seconds, Eleanor might have evaded capture on screen, but this ’67 GT500 Eleanor is waiting for you! Built with the vision of a track-ready Eleanor for SCCA road course racing, this GT500 started with a rust-free shell from Arizona, stripped down to bare metal as a foundation for a true muscle car masterpiece.
Under the hood is a slightly detuned, pump-gas-compatible NASCAR Cup Series 358CI small block Ford engine from the legendary Roush Yates Racing. This powerhouse cranks out around 750 hp and effortlessly revs to 8,000 rpm. With open side pipes, the Mustang delivers an intoxicating exhaust note that sounds just like a Cup car. Power flows through a Richmond six-speed manual transmission with a hydraulic clutch, leading to a NASCAR-spec Ford 9-inch rear axle.
To handle this immense power, the body was reinforced with boxed frame members, welded-in subframe connectors, and driveline braces to prevent twisting. The custom-built front suspension with Penske race shocks, combined with a four-link rear setup, a Panhard bar, and adjustable coilovers, makes this Eleanor equally at home on the track or street. Racing-grade brakes with slotted, ventilated two-piece rotors, four-piston front calipers, and dual-piston rears ensure incredible stopping power. For street comfort, the car also features power steering and air conditioning.
Inside, this GT500 boasts leather-covered high-bolster bucket seats, Dakota digital gauges, a center console with cup holders, a real wood steering wheel, and a premium Pioneer sound system. For safety, it has a half cage and a racing-spec fuel cell. True to the movie car, it’s finished in dark slate grey metallic with black stripes and all the correct fiberglass bumpers, side skirts, scoops, and lighting.
This Eleanor is a high-performance, track-ready build that would easily leave the original movie car in its dust on a straightaway or a road course. It’s a true GT500E with all the right upgrades—and then some.

When was the build completed?
Hello,
The build was completed around 2019. Thank you!
Please confirm the mileage. Seat looks worn so want to make sure new build versus ols
Hello,
Mileage is accurate from the build. The wear on the seat is a result of the heavy bolstering and the car has been used only for short trips etc. The build was originally intended to be a road course car, and with the heavy bolstering and even with the tilt column you have to slide across that bolster for ingress and egress.
