1964 Ford Mustang Convertible

1964 1/2 Ford Mustang Convertible equipped with a 289 V-8 engine and automatic transmission. VIN: 5F08D191995. Upon my initial inspection of this Mustang, I ensured it retained the correct ’64 1/2 Hood with the prominent horns and the original generator, which it does. This Mustang, representing the 1964 1/2 production, drives exceptionally well and presents beautifully. Its vibrant red paint is in excellent condition, further enhanced by the recent installation of new 14″ steel-style wheels and tires, elevating its appearance.

Noteworthy features include the striking red interior, adding to the car’s allure. Power is supplied by a 289 cubic inch V8 engine, reportedly overhauled by a previous owner, paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Additional amenities comprise a power-operated white convertible top, power steering, and electronic ignition.

In 2016, the previous owner undertook comprehensive refurbishments, including rust repairs, an exterior repaint, and the replacement of the convertible top, carburetor, fuel tank, and battery.
