1964 Chevrolet Impala

This third generation Impala is a bright red with a white soft top and red vinyl interior.

The interior is in solid shape; seats, carpet and door panels are in good condition.

The 120mph speedometer tops a 6-digit odometer reading just over 28,000 miles.

It is in need of a mild restoration to be a driver. The current owner has had it since the early 1970s and it was well maintained until 2019. The powertrain is good.

A cassette deck has been installed in addition to the factory radio. Dials and knobs for the wipers, lights and radio fill in the rest of the space between the air/defrost controls.

The outside trim is solid, key features of a 3rd generation being the upside-down “U” along the trunk and the iconic three-bezel tail lights. The car has been undercoated several times with fluid film and cleaned up nicely.

Under the hood is a GM 283ci V8 and an automatic transmission.

Pop culture has adopted the 1964 Impala as evidenced by its appearance in the 2022 Superbowl Halftime Show among West Coast, lowrider culture.

A video has been added to this listing

  • Svasquez6 says:

Do the front and rear interior bench seats color match? Are they original to this car? It appears the front seats are lighter than the rear in the pictures.

Do you pictures of the under belly of the car?

Is the visible rust at the floor pan under the rugs. Looks as if tear was heater core leak or leaky roof.

Any visible rust in the convertible top retraction space ?

    Thank you

  • ACC Auctions says:
