1962 Oldsmobile Jetfire Coupe with a 215ci Supercharged V8—extremely rare, with only 50 known to exist with the original turbo. This red coupe, featuring maroon trim, was part of Oldsmobile’s F-85 line. It has an automatic transmission, standard rear, and 75,055 miles (exempt). The Jetfire package includes a 215ci supercharged V8, automatic transmission, power steering, AM radio, and bucket seats.

Only 3,765 of these cars were produced in 1962, with 1963 being the final production year. It was the first GM turbocharged car ever made and was featured in Motor Trend and Muscle Car Magazine. The car underwent a three-year, no-expense-spared frame-up restoration with meticulous attention to detail.

This incredible 215ci V8 engine delivers 215 horsepower with a Garrett supercharger and retains the original supercharged special mixture bottle. Many of these cars were converted to a 4-barrel carburetor because owners often forgot to keep the special fluid bottle filled. As a result, finding one with the original supercharged equipment is exceptionally rare. If you’re looking for one of the top three collectible Oldsmobiles, this is the one.

Your description should be updated to reference the engine as Turbocharged not Supercharged.
“Olds also released a turbocharged version, the 215 hp (160 kW) Turbo-Rocket, in its 1962–63 Oldsmobile Jetfire.[27] Together with Chevrolet’s turbocharged 1962 Corvair Spyder, these were the first turbochargers ever offered in passenger cars.
Produced on a separate assembly line, the Olds 215 was somewhat heavier at 350 lb (160 kg).”
