Classic 1951 Ford F1 Pickup. This all-steel, rust-free truck hails from North Carolina, boasting a Chevy 327CI engine replacement equipped with a new 4 Barrel Edelbrock carburetor. The original manual transmission has been replaced with a 2-speed Powerglide automatic transmission. Acquired by the current owner in 2019, the truck underwent extensive restoration, including a bare metal strip-down and a fresh Classic red and black paint scheme in 2020.
Numerous additional upgrades and new parts have been added since, including new wiring, battery, tires, and all-new glass. The truck features a new Oak bed and boasts a clean undercarriage. Equipped with dual exhaust, it has been fully tuned with new points and plugs. The truck retains manual steering and drum brakes, with no headliner present.
Although displaying a minor crack in the tailgate, the truck showcases original rust-free panels, including fenders and running boards, all in excellent condition. Chrome trim and badging remain intact and in very good condition. This solid truck runs and drives exceptionally well, featuring an AM/FM Bluetooth stereo. While requiring installation of a wiper motor and wipers, and wiring for the currently non-functioning spotlight, it remains a robust and reliable classic.
