This Cadillac Series 62 frame off resto-mod is perhaps one of the finest examples on the road today. The stunning repaint is done in the original Seine Blue color from 1947, while the new ultra-luxurious interior is certainly next level. The old cloth, spring filled seats are replaced by plush vinyl and foam which provide the comfort and style of a modern day car. Topped off by an abundance of woodgrain trim, this well detailed cabin makes for a motoring experience like no other.

The car also rides like new thanks to its one-off custom chassis built by Team Witt Customs. Sporting tubular control arms, coil over suspension, disc brakes, and rack and pinion power steering, the vehicle maintains its timeless looks, while gaining the safety, comfort and ease of driving from modern day components.

Powered by a fuel injected 5.3L Vortec V8 and backed by a 4L60E automatic transmission, the car provides excellent power and reliability. The engine and transmission were sourced from a 2000 model Chevy Silverado with only 102k miles on it…not even half of what is routinely reported from this tried and true combination. The dual exhaust purrs smoothly for the neighbors’ sake, but can definitely roar when you want it to. Electrics have been converted to a 12V system, and a vintage air unit makes ample heating and cooling for up to 6 occupants.

This vehicle is the perfect statement piece for any collector, but would also make an amazing coach for hire or event vehicle for an upscale venue looking to add style and class to its fleet.

Options include: Vintage Air Ac/Heat, power disc brakes, power steering, all new interior, modern stereo system by R and B Vintage Radio, USB input, Bluetooth connectivity for music and hands-free phone calls, key fob wireless disabling device.

The only minor issues include: 1) Currently, the clock is intermittent, but in the process of being repaired. 2) Grand Ole Opry lovers will appreciate a radio stuck in AM mode, but the USB stick full of 40’s tunes and Bluetooth connection for phone calls/music work just fine.

Extensive photos, documentation and receipts from the entire restoration are available.

  • ACC Auctions says:

Many new photos have been added to the gallery showing the undercarriage and also some photos from the restoration

  • NashBass76 says:

The engine and transmission are from a 2000 Chevy Silverado that had 102,000 miles on it. Cylinder heads and transmission were rebuilt.

  • Richard Inferrera says:

Just wondering, who did the interior work on your caddy? They sure did a superb job and I’d like to know who it is and where they are.

    • NashBass76 says:

The interior was done by Kaze Williams at The Trim Den. He’s no longer in business though. All springs and foam in the seats were removed and replaced so it sits like a late model car.

  • Richard Inferrera says:

It looks like the motor and I guess would guess the transmission is out of a donor vehicle because it looks old. How many miles were on it when you procured it?
