1935 Ford Model 48 Pickup
This 1935 Ford Model 48 Pickup marries classic styling with modern performance upgrades, offering a unique blend of vintage appeal and powerful drive. The aged blue patina exterior highlights its nostalgic charm, while beneath the hood, a 1957 265ci V8 engine—bored to 283ci—delivers impressive performance. With Fuelie heads and a 650 Holley 4-barrel carburetor, this pickup has a lively power band, amplified by a dual exhaust system that gives it a rich, throaty sound.
The T-5 5-speed manual transmission ensures smooth shifting and enhanced drivability, paired with a durable 9″ Ford rear end to handle the power. Fifteen-inch vintage chrome wheels wrapped in classic Firestone wide whitewall tires complete the look, adding to its hot-rod character.
Inside, a custom blue leather interior offers a refined touch, contrasting perfectly with the weathered exterior. This pickup has been thoughtfully modified, making it both an eye-catching classic and a pleasure to drive—ideal for collectors and enthusiasts who value both style and substance.

Can you show me the front of the heads looking for the dual humps..
How’s the Hiway stopping with those drum brakes? Are they adequate? Any pulsing when you stop?
Is that five speed, fifth gear overdrive?
Any oil leaks with the engine or trans?
from the seller:
This was a Gas Axe Garage build. Done right!
The brakes work well. Plenty of stopping power, no pulsating.
Small drip from the rear diff, no transmission leaks.
T-5 Transmission with overdrive.
