This 1930 Ford Model A Hot Rod looks the part of an “old school” custom build. And when you see the steel body with glass fenders, you start to understand the difference when someone takes the extra time and investment to bring back that old school look and feel.

The more you look at this, the more you understand how thoughtful the build really is. For example, a classic hot rod would often just be finished primer, and so the blue patina color pays tribute to that. Of course, you can see they did a lot of work on this steel by adding a steel top, so you get a true hot rod stance.

There’s an elegance in the simplicity of a hot rod interior. There’s not much to it, but it sets the tone right for a driver’s atmosphere. And that’s why this also has upgrades like new gauges.

This hot rod is ready for The Race of Gentleman TROG or ready to just cruise. The very impressive powerplant is a 1953 239 Flathead V8 connected to a 5 speed manual transmission. It is converted over to 12 volt and is setup with Autometer Guages and a Sunpro Tach. This is a highway driving car with 1935 Ford spoke wheels with 185R14 wide track radial fronts and 285/70/15 BFG radial TA rears. The frame has a wishbone front suspension and ladder bar rear with a 10 bolt rearend. Attention to classic details means aluminum Edelbrock intake with three Offenhauser carbs. Drive, Race, Cruise, this one is ready. Please note that this has cracked glass in front, rear and driver side rear. There is also a mounting bracket for a spare tire included.
